6 year old Lucas

A snippet of the inner workings of my new 6 year old's mind:

Me: You're 6 now, you can brush your teeth yourself
L: But I just turned 6 today... I'm still used to [being] 5
Me: How long will it take for you to be used to 6?
L: 200 days

kindergarten love

Lucas: I love preschool but I love love love love love kindergarten. That's 4 loves away.

This just makes me laugh.

On another note.... Lucas received a Grizzly Greatness award for compassion, caring and service. When I asked if he was surprised he got an award he said no. I guess he doesn't have a lack of confidence.
