Caleb's first T-Ball game went well. T-Ball these days means all kids bat each of the 3 innings. There are no outs and no score. Field position and batting lineup rotates too. Basically it's just an introduction to the game of baseball and being on a team.
With that said, it's pretty adorable and funny to watch a bunch of 5 year olds play. Once the kid hits the ball (and that can take a few tries) the hitter runs to first base while all the boys on the field run to the ball (no matter what position they are "playing") and wrestle for the ball and eventually the ball is thrown in the direction of first base. Base runners run to the next base as each batter hits the ball. Everyone crosses home plate. Hopefully as the season progresses the boys get better at cheering each other on as well as catching the ball and of course having fun.
