Today was Caleb's first day of wearing underwear and the start of potty training. In summary, he had 4 accidents and did not poop which is rare for him. The difference between the first and fourth accident was the first he didn't say a word. Jamie was the one who noticed since he was sitting next to Caleb. The third and fourth accident Caleb was saying "pee! pee!" After all his accidents he immediately wanted a dry underwear. I'm taking that as a good sign. He did pee in the potty a few times once when Jamie noticed he was holding his private parts and took him to the potty and before his nap and bedtime when we said he had to go potty before he sleeps. We decided he would wear a pull-up when he sleeps because he doesn't wake up with a dry diaper.
We're definitely not following the 3 day potty training method to the T since we're using pull-ups at naps and bedtime. Also, having a baby around causes us to be a little less focused. Overall it wasn't too bad of a day. It was hard filling up the day with activities at home. We're hoping there will be more progress tomorrow.

way to go caleb! in the beginning, rhys would have an accident and i would change him right away. the third time this happened i decided to just wait a little bit til i could tell he was getting uncomfortable. he hasn't had an accident since! :)
I think it's a great sign he recognizes when he's wet and wants to do something about it. And he is pretty darn cute in his underwear! :)
